Cadwell British Superbikes

A great weekend at Cadwell Park for round 7 of the British Superbikes. We camped a few miles away from the track at one of our usual venues, it was busy for a couple of days but quite for the last night.

Rob was delighted to meet his hero, Peter Hickman as soon as we entered on day one.

It was a good weekend for Rory Skinner Cheshire Mouldings FS-3 Kawasaki, not so good for Lee Jackson, Lee dropped his bike at the top of the mountain on the first race, but even worse for Dan Jones who hit Lee’s bike square on at around 80mph. Dan was air lifted to hospital to checked out fully, but we believe that thankfully his main injury was a broken collar bone.

We are looking forward to next years event at Cadwell Park.

Ypres Belgium

Great Grandads Grave

Our trip over to Ypres was a great success. We found Great Grandads grave, visited the biggest commonwealth was cemetery known, and the WW1 trenches.

We also had a couple of great evenings in Ypres, good food and beer.

I am pleased I bought the new bike before the trip, an excellent bike for a longer ride.

Another Nice Short Ride

Another nice short ride today to Matlock. Just two of us today, a plate of chips and cup of tea, the a ride back to the Gate for the obligatory pint.

Fortunately Matlock was not too busy, and we managed to avoid the rain.
